Work Update
In-house working has been quite a strange experience for me. It's a lot more tedious than I imagined it - lots of reorganizing powerpoints, transfering text from powerpoint to indesign... etc.
I have actually started taking pleasure in trying to find out ways of making things less tedious by exploring new tricks with the programs.
Such as finding a way to make splitting a text box full of text into several text boxes (paragraphs) without the tedious nature of copy-pasting a million times. The slightly less tedious way is to create flowing text boxes then destroying the links between them while retaining the text. In the scripts tab, there is a script called "split story" and that will unlink any text boxes.
That took quite a search on the internet and help pages to try and wiggle out a way to make tedious things all-that-more-bareable.
Which has in turn made my work like a challenge - to streamline everything with more efficient ways of doing previously time-consuming and tedious work.
